Only you can save the research facility from BLIPP!

The story so far...

We’ve been invaded! A destructive entity from another realm has entered our continuum, intent on wreaking havoc at one of our most important scientific research facilities, reason unknown.

 

By the time scientists at the facility realized what was going on, the entity damaged several critical systems. In a desperate gamble, they were able to erect a containment area to hold the malevolent creature while they worked on a plan to send him home.

 

Each time the entity charged the walls of the containment area and made contact, a noticeable “blipp” sound was emitted, and one of the scientists decided to dub the creature with the name BLIPP.

We have a situation...

One of the systems damaged earlier has failed completely and caused one wall of the containment area to collapse. Here is where you come in. As a new intern assigned to one of the research teams, it has been decided that you are the only one capable enough (read, expendable enough) to use a portable deflector device to keep BLIPP in the containment area while repairs are performed.

 

After constructing the containment area, the team was able to create several of these devices and scientists are feverishly working on more.

 

You will start out with access to 5 of these deflectors, and gain an additional deflector for every 5 minutes that you are able to hold BLIPP at bay.

 

Be careful. BLIPP may look harmless, but the longer he bounces around the containment area the faster he gets. He is also able to influence his trajectory, so don’t expect him to always bounce in the direction you think he will.

 

The scientists are working to get the collapsed wall back online, so it is up to you to keep BLIPP from escaping until they can effect repairs. How long can you hold out against him?
